Coach Patrick Valentine
Meet Coach Patrick, who grew up in Pendleton, Indiana, and now calls Indianapolis home.
Patrick was introduced to sports at an early age, taking on competitive swimming just before the age of five. He continued to swim into college where he competed all four years at Purdue University on the school’s varsity, Div. I swim team. During this time, Patrick also began to get involved in cycling and triathlons. As a result, he began to compete for the Purdue triathlon and cycling clubs. Upon graduation, he moved to Colorado Springs where he found a true passion for riding a bike and competing out of the water. As he began to compete in more Xterra events, he was able to obtain his professional racing license for triathlon and even captured a handful of top ten performances on the national circuit in his rookie year.
Coach Patrick earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Purdue University and is a Level II Certified USAT Coach.
