In a breakaway or attacking a group, you have to be prepared to handle the surges and accelerations that come with a rotation through the paceline or even the initial surge that is necessary to get the separation needed to have a successful breakaway. With this high-intensity plan, you will test your limits of fitness and get a better understanding of what you are truly capable of. Using this knowledge, your next attack will be certain to be a breakaway day. This is a mid-volume training plan, requiring a moderate time commitment to complete.
